4-Legged Stools

This is the design of my hardwood 4-legged stools. They have laminated tops turned on a lathe, and are 18 1⁄2” high and the top is 12 1⁄2” in diameter. The legs are 1 1⁄2” rock maple with 1” spindles of different hardwoods.

1) spalted ambrosia maple top with tapered walnut legs

2) live edge ambrosia maple with tapered walnut legs

3) black limba tops with turned and tapered walnut legs

3-Legged side tables

These are live edge cherry slabs with contoured oak legs. There is red-tinted epoxy filling defects in the wood. The cherry tops (~20″ long and 1~14″ wide) are sequential cuts from the same tree branch.

These would work well as matching end tables for a couch or side tables for a bed.

$600 for both

Stool with unique carved top – $200

This new stool design uses dyed plywood laminated to maple that is carved with a chromosome motif. The carving and leg stretchers are painted to match the dyed wood. The stool is finished with satin polyurethane, giving a durable matte surface.

This stool can be made in your choice of colors. Take a look at the ice cream scoops for the colors available.
