$40 Scoops

The handles of these scoops are made from a more expensive polymer impregnated wood. This gives them an extremely smooth finish and a weighty, very pleasing feel. The handles are ~1.5 inches in diameter and ~6 inches long. I turn the handles on my lathe by hand before sanding and finishing with 3 coats of waterproof sealant. The stainless steel ferrule and scoop are epoxied to the handle, making them water resistant.
