These cherry and curly maple bureaus were built as a set of 2 with complimentary arrangements of the woods. The design is simple, and accented by the slight flair of the front legs. The handles are copper, complementing the rich cherry hue.

Vinyl Record Cabinet

The design of this record cabinet was driven by a wish to display a variety of wood color (heartwood and sapwood), sap pockets, and distinctive knots (one filled with copper dust in epoxy) to give a lively and complex character.

Advent Calendar

Each of the doors of this Advent calendar is 3″ x 3″ curly maple framed by mahogany to make a small cubbyhole for a daily December gift through Christmas. The beveled top and base direct attention to the doors, each of which has a glazed green ceramic number for the date.

Side tables

I offer a variety of side tables, with 3 or 4 legs, and one or two shelves.

Footstool

This cherry footstool is made from a 1-5/8″ thick slab. The cherry legs were turned on the lathe and are attached to the middle of each side using a half dovetail.
